Description

As long as any changes are gradual, the wine can be stored satisfactorily between 7–18°C (45–64°F). The temperature of 13°C (55°F) is very similar to the temperature in the caves used to store wine in France, and is ideal for short-term storage and long-term aging of wine. Please note that wines usually have a different maturity at low temperatures and are slower to mature than at high temperatures. When the temperature fluctuates significantly (14 degrees or higher), it will cause the wine to breathe through the cork stopper, which greatly speeds up the aging process. Between 10–14°C (50–57°F), the wine will age normally.
